In
1964, Faith Methodist Church had its humble beginnings
as a Methodist Chapel to serve the then rapidly developing
satellite town of Queenstown.
Before the buildings were completed, worship services
were conducted in the open air and later a temporary shed
was erected for the purpose.
In
1967, the Church building at 400 Commonwealth Drive
was completed and named as 'Faith Methodist Church'
in honour of God's faith in the entire project and in
memory of Faith Goh, the only daughter of Dr and Mrs
Goh Kok Kee, who were gracious donors of the Church
Building Fund.
